Babies Galore!

Every other week, some of my friends with babies try to get together for a Mommies tea. This past friday we had 7 babies! They were every where - cuteness over load. We weren't able to get a photo of them all together, because at any given time at least one of them would be either sleeping, eating, or crying. So, here are some pictures I got of them doing their own thing. It really was such a blast.

Reflections

" And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the spirit." 2Cor 3:18.

My prayer is that I would reflect Christ in my life more and more, that people would see His love reflected through me and turn to Him.

A Pumkin Patch

This past saturday, Matthew and I took Liam out to see a Pumkin Patch. It was actually my first time to see one aswell! The weather could not have been more beautiful, clear blue skies and not a cloud in sight. There were so many families out picking their pumkins, it was nice to see so many families out doing something together. Even though Liam was a little young to appreciate the whole pumkin thing, I think he loved being with his Mum and Dad. I know we loved being with him.

Yard sale find :: No.2

Yard Sailing has recently become a really fun hobby. I love to go out saturday mornings and see what's out there, it's sort of like treasure hunting. Last saturday I found this walker for Liam, and though he can't walk yet, we're using it as an exersaucer, and he LOVES it. For only $2 I'd say this was quiet the treasure to be found.

Blanky!

I've recently discovered that when falling asleep, Liam loves to snuggle his face into soft fabric. We were putting him to bed a few nights ago, and as we left the room he began to cry. I decided I would wait a little while before going back in, give him a chance at trying to soothe himself... About ten minutes later the crying stoped! I was curious to see why, had he fallen asleep? So I went in to check on him, he was still awake, but had scooted himself up to his bumper pads and was rubbing his little face up against them. (It was one of the cutest things:) So now when I put him to bed, or down for a nap, I put a blanky down next to him so he can snuggle up to it and fall asleep. Ofcourse it doesn't work like magic every time, but it is easier, and I am very thankful for that little discovery.

Covenant Children

Our covenant Children, Phoebe Evangeline Cole and Liam David Chase.
It was such a joy to share this special day with the Coles, rejoicing in God's great mercy, His love poured out, and His grace that covers all our sin. Here Phoebe is being baptised.
My words can't fully express all that I felt, and feel every morning as I pick Liam up out of bed... I am humbled and thankful for the blessing God has given Matthew and I in raising this precious boy.

"We acknowledge Liam's need of the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ, and the renewing grace of the Holy Spirit. We claim God's covenant promises in his behalf, and look in faith to Jesus Christ for his salvation, as we do for our own. We unreservedly dedicate Liam to God, and promise, in HUMBLE RELIANCE upon divine grace, we endeavor to set before him a godly example, we will pray with and for him, we will teach him the bible, and will strive, by all means of God's appointment, to bring him up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord."

Snuggling

When I was little I absolutly loved waking up in the morning, and along with all my other sibblings, running to jump in bed with my mum and dad. We would snuggle up, read books, ruff house, talk, and generally just be silly. I'm hoping that Liam (and all the others to come:) will love this family time just as much as I did. Even though Liam is still only a little guy, 3 and a half months now, this is some of the best fun we have with him. He is so alert and playfull first thing in the morning, and I just love it.

The way they put it...

The first time I saw this sign, I was tickled, and couldn't stop laughing... The way they put it, "It messes up their heads!" , too funny. I know what they are trying to say, When we love our enemies, when we pray for those who persecute us, when we bless those who hate us... we are doing what comes unaturally, we are doing what can only come through the love of Christ, the love that He showed us. And that sort of love can definatly blow your mind, "mess with your head", I know I am blown away by the love God has shown me: a sinner.

Introducing :: Levi Jackson Napotnik ::

Levi Jackson Napotnik was born early tuesday morning, and how we praise God for this little guy! (not so little at 8lb 6oz.) We are so thakful for his life and for the fact that we get to be apart of it. Liam, I know, is pretty stoked to have another guy to hang with.
Levi and his sweet Mama.
Babies! Such an amazing gift, little miracles... that truth hits home stronger every time. These little guys decided they were sleepy and napped the afternoon away. Levi, we are so happy for you, for your life ahead... we pray you will be used by God mightly and that you may bring Him much glory.

Driving Home

We had a long drive home from Atlanta, Matthew and I enjoyed hanging out together, talking, listening to sermons and different CD's, it was alot of fun. It is such a blessing to be married to your best friend:) We were really thankful too for how well Liam did, he was a champ and slept most of the way! We also got to enjoy this amazing sunset!

Monday Night Brewery

While we were in Atlanta we had the privilege of visiting the head quarters of MNB. Not having much of a taste for beer myself I didn't end up trying any, but I trust Matthew when He said it was awesome. We were impressed with their set up and dedication to brewing more than just good beer. and ofcourse I have always been a fan of all their graphic marketing, I especially love their logo. If you are ever in Atlanta, I'm sure they would love to see you.

Oma & Opa

When we have the chance we love to go down to Lexington and spend time with Oma & Opa and Aunt Sarah. Their place is so relaxing and almost makes you feel as if you were on vacation. The big front porch looking out over the field and maple trees', mountains' in the background... so peaceful. We are so thankful for the time we get to spend with them now, as we know it won't always be that easy.

Bulldozer fun

Yesterday I had the fun of playing with the Davis kids over at the park. These kids bring joy and laughter where ever they are, a true blessing and such sweet gifts to those around them. When we came across this big Bulldozer/tractor/truck/earthmover (there was some confusion as to what it was actually called?) it was to good of an opportunity to pass up. I ran home and got my camera. Here are some of my favorites.

Jude David Lookabill

While we were gone Jude David Lookabill made his arrival into this world. He is soooo cute and absolutly precious, I love seeing a new born again, he is so sweet. Liam is thrilled to have another boy to hang out with and loves that they share middle names. I hope and pray they will be great buddies growing up in Japan together. Jude you are a precious gift from the Lord. We are praising Him for your safe arrival and for the life He has given you... a true blessing.
