I've recently discovered that when falling asleep, Liam loves to snuggle his face into soft fabric. We were putting him to bed a few nights ago, and as we left the room he began to cry. I decided I would wait a little while before going back in, give him a chance at trying to soothe himself... About ten minutes later the crying stoped! I was curious to see why, had he fallen asleep? So I went in to check on him, he was still awake, but had scooted himself up to his bumper pads and was rubbing his little face up against them. (It was one of the cutest things:) So now when I put him to bed, or down for a nap, I put a blanky down next to him so he can snuggle up to it and fall asleep. Ofcourse it doesn't work like magic every time, but it is easier, and I am very thankful for that little discovery.

Kathryn loves snuggling up to things when she goes to sleep too. She has a little lovey bear, but in a pinch, anything will do (even a burp cloth)!
It's neat that you are able to discover these little things that do make life a little easier. Discovering Liam's little likes and dislikes... isn't it amazing, he is still so little and yet he has so many unique aspects to his makeup already. Love it.

Hey Blankey Boy.
You look so content and happy.
But keep it in the bed ok.
No dragging blankeys around the house. Orders from Nan
