Fun in the pool!
Over the memorial day weekend we had such fun getting together with some of Matthew's family. Being that it was such a hot weekend, we set up a pool for the little ones. These cute guys pictured in the photos are Matthew's second cousins, Blake (at the top) and Maison (with the big puppy dog eyes). They had a blast splashing around in the water, so much so that Titus tried to join in on the fun!

For Baby Cole
This past weekend I had the pleasure of co-hosting a baby shower especially for baby cole. We had a lovely time playing games, drinking coffee punch, and praying over the life of their precious baby girl. The amazing cakes you see here were made by Tabitha! (who also helped in the making of my koala cake! She definatly has this cake making thing down to an art!!)

Art Judging
This past friday night I had the honor of judging some wonderful art work. A Home schooling co-op asked me to come in and judge different pieces with another artist. We had to choose a first, second and third place in 2D, 3D, and photography. It was a really tough job with all the pieces being so good, but was comforted in the fact that the other judge and I chose the same pieces in each catagory, only in slightly different order. I had alot of fun and hope to do it again. :: This last picture shows off how Baby chase has been growing alot lately ::
Robby the rat snake.
We first saw Robby the rat snake at Matthew's parents house down in Lexington. We believe he will be a good asset to their new home as he will help keep the mice population under control. We havn't seen him again... and hope for Matthew's mom that he won't be showing himself too often. :: This photo was captured by my brave husband Matthew ::

Showered with Love.
Just last week, Baby Chase and I were extremely blessed by some of the most amazing friends! We were showered with love, yummy food, gifts, prayers and lots of fun. It was a wonderful shower and I left feeling overwhelmingly blessed, loved and supported. The amazing cake you see in the picture here was a collaboration between, Sara-Beth, Martha, Sarah, and Tabitha. (It was just as delicious as it looks amazing!) Thank you all so much for the blessing you are in our lives. We praise Jesus for you.

A sighting!
While we were driving home from work yesterday, we saw a groundhog. We didn't just drive by either it was while we were waiting for the lights, so had a good few minutes to admire this little creature eating his dinner. It completly made my day! I know that to some groundhogs are a nusance, but I can not help but get excited every time I see one... they are too cute with their rippling backs and funny little snouts. :: Thanks to my wonderful husband who hung himself out his window to take this photo for me ::
