Waking up...
This sunday we had the great surprise of waking up to this! The snow was still comming down in big fluffy flakes, and the whole world was covered in 4-6 in of white. What a lovely surprise... Since church had been canceled we took our time waking up, Matthew made us some delicious french toast, then lead us in some family worship. It was all so relaxing, and filled my heart with gratitude for all the many blessings God has given us.

Snow... snow and more snow. Is that usual for this time of year there in Virginia? There hasn't been any snow in Tokyo this year, the first time since they started keeping records in the late 1800's.
